What does the green glass + walnut combination look like in a real room?
The walnut wood cap is what you notice first from across a room — its 8.7″ disc reads as a warm, natural shape against the ceiling. The green glass globe is smaller and recessed beneath, more visible as you approach. When the bulb is on, the glass takes on a saturated bottle-green glow that pairs especially well with natural wood, brass hardware, and earth-tone palettes. It’s a confident color choice — quietly vintage rather than retro-bold.
Are bulbs included? What type do I need?
Bulbs are not included. Greenfield uses one G9 capsule bulb, 5W maximum. We recommend a 2700K warm-white LED in this wattage class — the warm tone reads beautifully through the bottle-green glass and complements the walnut wood. The fixture supports dimmable G9 bulbs for use with a wall dimmer.
How do I adjust the hanging height?
The 59″ / 150 cm cord is field-adjustable at the canopy. Your electrician will set the final drop length during installation by shortening the visible cord and securing it inside the canopy. Once installed it’s a fixed length, so plan the drop before mounting — the included installation sheet covers this in detail.
Where does Greenfield work best?
At 8.7″ diameter and 6.3″ tall with a 5W G9 bulb, this is an accent-scale pendant — best as: (a) a single fixture above a small kitchen counter, breakfast nook, or entryway, or (b) grouped 2–3 in a row above a longer counter or dining table. With its low wattage it produces mood/ambient light rather than task-grade brightness — pair with overhead lighting for full coverage.
Is Greenfield dimmable?
Yes — pair a dimmable G9 bulb with a wall dimmer wired to the circuit. The fixture itself has no inline switch, so all on/off and dimming control happens at the wall. Most modern LED-rated wall dimmers will work; check the dimmer’s compatibility with low-wattage LED loads (5W is at the low end, so use a “low-load” or trailing-edge dimmer for smooth dimming).
Is professional installation required?
The pendant hardwires into a standard ceiling junction box. Because cord-length adjustment happens at install time and many regions require licensed installation for hardwired fixtures, we strongly recommend installation by a licensed electrician. The installation sheet covers wiring, canopy mounting, and cord adjustment.
Where is Greenfield certified for use?
Compliant with electrical certifications for North America, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East. Wiring will arrive ready for the destination market based on your shipping address.
