The Geen-a Floor Lamp is built around a quietly radical idea: the three essential parts of any lamp — the structure, the electrical components, and the shade — are designed as separate, independent modules. Each piece can be assembled at install, then cleaned, repaired, or replaced individually over the lamp’s lifetime, so the fixture lasts longer and ages well.

Are bulbs included?

No — bulbs are sold separately. The Geen-a takes two E27 or E26 medium-base bulbs at 40 watts maximum each. Choose your preferred color temperature (warm or cool) to match the room.

Does it need to be hardwired?

No. The Geen-a is a plug-in floor lamp with a 150 cm / 59″ cord and an inline on/off switch. Plug it into any standard outlet — no electrician required.

What does “modular” actually mean here?

The lamp is built as three separate, replaceable modules — the steel structure, the electrical assembly (sockets, wiring, switch, cord), and the shade. If a part wears out down the line, that piece can be serviced or replaced on its own without retiring the whole fixture.

Why two bulbs instead of one?

Two sockets at 40 W max each give a fuller, more even spread of light than a single bulb of the same total wattage — softer shadows and better ambient fill. You can also run just one bulb if you want a dimmer mood.

Is the lamp heavy enough to stay put?
